With the noise of election campaigns coming to an end, the leaders of every major party have started to assess the profit and loss. Home Minister Amit Shah, who is considered the Chanakya of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has predicted in a conversation with India TV that this time BJP will make a record of winning 70 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, and Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister for the third time. He gave his state-wise assessment and also explained the reasons behind the possibilities of victory. Amit Shah explained why he is claiming that NDA will cross 400 on June 4. What is the basis of this. Amit Shah said that BJP will win all the Lok Sabha seats in 16 states and union territories of the country. The opposition will not even open its account in these states. In UP, the Samajwadi Party will not even be able to touch the figure of four. Amit Shah said that BJP will give surprising results in states like Bengal, Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh. BJP will also maintain its old record in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and the rest of the North East states.
Amit Shah claims that this time BJP will get between 24 to 30 seats in Bengal and BJP will win 17 out of 21 seats in Odisha, it will not be a surprise if 10 out of 17 seats in Telangana go to BJP’s account. But Amit Shah admitted that BJP may lose one or two seats in Rajasthan and Haryana. Amit Shah claims that Modi’s storm is blowing in the country at this time and the results coming on June 4 will surprise everyone. Therefore, the figure of four hundred is not a difficult target.
India TV’s political editor Devendra Parashar was with Amit Shah all day on Wednesday. Amit Shah was holding rallies in Maharajganj, Deoria, Ballia and Robertsganj in Purvanchal, and also did a road show in Ghazipur. During this time Devendra Parashar spoke to Amit Shah. Amit Shah said that anyone can make any claim, everyone has the right to say till June 4 that their government is going to be formed but he has travelled all over the country in the last two months, has gone to every area and he has realized that the country is ‘Modi-filled’, there is a storm in the name of Modi, when the results will come on June 4, all the opponents will be blown away in the storm of Modi. After this Amit Shah talked about the states. Parashar first asked about UP. In 2014, BJP had won 71 seats in UP and in 2019 it won 62 seats. Amit Shah said that this time BJP will break all the previous records in UP. In the last seven years, Yogi Adityanath has done such a good job under the guidance of Narendra Modi that today UP has become a model of development. Its effect will be seen in the results.
Devendra Parashar asked Amit Shah about Bengal and Odisha because these are two states where BJP is competing with regional parties. There is Mamata Banerjee in Bengal and Naveen Patnaik in Odisha, both parties are very strong. Amit Shah said that BJP will create a new history in Odisha, it will win 15 to 17 seats out of 21 Lok Sabha seats and BJP government will be formed in Odisha. Amit Shah said that in Andhra Pradesh also BJP and Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party will form the government together. In Telangana, BJP will get at least ten out of 17 seats, BJP’s account will also open in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Amit Shah said that till now there was rigging and violence in elections in Bengal, now that era will end. Amit Shah also admitted that this time BJP’s seats may decrease in Bihar, Rajasthan and Haryana. BJP may also lose one or two seats in Maharashtra because BJP is already at saturation point (highest score) in these states. Amit Shah said that BJP will repeat its 2019 performance in Jharkhand. This time too, the party will win 12 out of 14 seats in Jharkhand, while BJP will win all the seats in Uttarakhand, Delhi and Gujarat.
One special quality of Amit Shah is that he speaks openly on every subject. His second quality is that he keeps on assessing how many seats BJP will win from where. The third thing is that he gives predictions about seats only when he gets 4-5 different reports. Recently, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav made claims of their victory with such confidence, Amit Shah deflated all these claims. Amit Shah answered every question that is in people’s mind – like how many seats will BJP win in UP or whether there will be some reduction in seats in the states where BJP is expected to win all the seats. And the biggest question is that if BJP loses some seats in North and West India, then how will it compensate for it. Amit Shah’s assessment is that BJP will get more seats in Bengal, Odisha and Telangana than the loss of one or two seats in Haryana and Rajasthan. This will give BJP a clear majority. After listening to Amit Shah, leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Mamta Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejaswi Yadav who were asking how BJP will cross the 400 mark, must have got the answer.
