Rajendra Nagar Incident: The allegations are serious...after the police, the court also accepted the fault of the car driver, said- this is what it seems after watching the video

New Delhi. Tis Hazari Court has given a big verdict in the case of death of 3 students in the basement of Rouse IAS Study Circle in Rajendra Nagar. The court rejected the bail plea of all 5 accused including the car driver. All the accused will have to remain in jail for now. Car driver Manoj Kathuria has called his arrest illegal and demanded its cancellation. On this, the court has sought a reply from the police. The next hearing will be on 7th August.

In this case, the owner of the basement and the car driver are currently in jail. The students are angry about this. Apart from the police, they are also demanding the arrest of MCD officials. They allege that this accident happened due to the collusion of police and MCD officers. Therefore, action should be taken against these officers.

He did not intend to do so
Tarun Rana, the lawyer of the car driver Manoj Kathuria, said, I don’t understand why the police arrested the car driver. He was just passing by like a normal man. He had no intention of breaking the basement. He did not even know that if he passed by this way, the gate of the building would break. Anyone could have been in the car in his place.

Negligence is clearly visible
On the other hand, the Delhi High Court has raised questions on the role of the police and the MCD. The court said, when such a big negligence is clearly visible, then why have the MCD officials not been arrested till now. This seems to be deliberate negligence. The court has summoned the MCD commissioner for the next hearing.
