Raj Kumar Anand joined BSP
Rajkumar Anand, who was a minister in the Delhi government and said bye to the Aam Aadmi Party, has joined BSP on Sunday. Earlier there were speculations about his joining BJP but today this speculation has been put to an end and Raj Kumar Anand has joined Mayawati’s party BSP. Now there is discussion that BSP may declare Rajkumar Anand as its candidate from New Delhi Lok Sabha seat. Recently, Rajkumar, who was a minister in the Kejriwal government, had resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party. In his resignation, he had accused the Kejriwal government of discriminating against SC-ST.
Politics hasn’t changed, politicians have changed
Former Delhi government minister Rajkumar Anand had submitted his resignation to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena a few days ago. Now he has joined Bahujan Samaj Party. After joining BSP, he said, ‘Today I feel that I have come to my party. He told that from the years 1985, 1988 to 1990, I had a shop at this place, where at that time Behenji and Kanshi Ramji used to sit and teach us. Then when Kejriwal came, he said, ‘If politics changes, the country will change.’ Then we left sister and went with her. Raj Kumar Anand further said, ‘Politics has not changed, but politicians have changed.
Rajkumar was AAP’s MLA from Patel Nagar.
When Rajkumar Anand was holding the charge of Social Welfare Minister in Kejriwal’s cabinet, his house was raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in November 2023. Raj Kumar Anand had won the Patel Nagar assembly seat on Aam Aadmi Party ticket in 2020 and was elected MLA. Many kinds of things were being said when Rajkumar Anand suddenly left.
