New Delhi. Amidst the election atmosphere in the country, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave a statement regarding neighboring countries China and Pakistan and emphasized that India will give a befitting reply to those who have ill intentions against it. Giving a strong message to China, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, no one can capture even an inch of India’s land. He also targeted Pakistan and said that Pakistan will have to face the consequences of supporting terrorism.
Rajnath Singh said, “In life you can change friends, but not your neighbours.” PoK was, is and will remain ours. If Pakistan feels that it is unable to control terrorism, then India is ready to help. India is ready to cooperate to stop terrorism. Pakistan will have to face the consequences of supporting terrorism.”
Addressing a public meeting in Sambhal on Wednesday, April 10, Rajnath Singh said that the country is currently in safe hands and there is no need for citizens to worry. Referring to the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, he said, “Ever since the BJP removed Article 370, there has been no separatism or stone pelting in the area. There is peace in Kashmir. It is possible that the people of PoK may also say that they want to be a part of Kashmir.”
Answering to China
China had recently changed the names of many places in Arunachal Pradesh. Rajnath Singh said that changing the name of something does not change its ownership. He questioned whether changing the names of places in China would make them part of India. He emphasized that such actions of China do not change the ground reality.
