Rajya Sabha MP and Reliance Industries’ Corporate Affairs Director Parimal Nathwani met PM Narendra Modi. Parimal Nathwani has written a book named “Call of the Gir”. He has presented the first copy of this book to PM Narendra Modi. Actually, it is based on the Gir forests. PM Narendra Modi has also praised Parimal Nathwani’s book. The Prime Minister shared a post on the social media site X and said that he knows Nathwani for his passion for wildlife.
What is the book based on?
Let us tell you that Parimal Nathwani has been visiting Gir National Park in Junagadh area of Gujarat for the last 30 years. He has seen these forests very closely and he has a special love for forests and wildlife. Today he is continuously cooperating for the conservation of Gir’s Barbary lion. If we talk about the book, then Parimal Nathwani said that this book will be an inspiration for the wildlife of the world. He said that I have been coming to Gir Forest for the last 30 years. I have a collection of rare pictures of Gir’s Asiatic Lion. This book is a collection of some memorable pictures of such lions.

He said that it will not only be an inspiration for lion lovers but also for wildlife lovers across the world. Parimal Nathwani had a long meeting with the Prime Minister during this time and praised the important “Project Lion”.
