Tonk. The festival of love and affection of siblings across the district was celebrated with enthusiasm of Rakshabandhan Rakhi. There was a crowd of women at the Roadways bus stand since morning due to the announcement of the state government to travel free of cost for women.
The sisters across the district including the city had movement about going to their house to tie rakhi to their brothers. The sisters tied a rakhi on the wrist of their brothers. Recruiting MP Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria tied a rakhi by the sisters who came to the Tonk residence on Raksha Bandhan, the holy festival of brother and sister’s love.
Junapuria gave gifts to all sisters. He tied Rakhi to the sisters of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya. The former MP gave gifts in many areas and tied rakhi to sisters. On this occasion, BJP District President Chandraveer Singh Chauhan, former Chairman Laxmi Jain, District General Secretary Vishnu Sharma, Prabhu Badolia and many BJP workers and officials were also with them.
