New Delhi. It is written in all the almanacs that this year Rakshabandhan i.e. the festival of Rakhi will be celebrated today i.e. on 11th August, but according to astrologers and pundits today is not the day to tie Rakhi. This festival should be celebrated tomorrow. So let us tell you that according to the planets and constellations, it will be right to celebrate Rakhi today or tomorrow. So first of all let’s see today’s Panchang. According to the Panchang, today is the Chaturdashi of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. This date will remain till 10.39 am in the morning. After this there will be a full moon. That is, there is no full moon when the sun rises. Knowledgeable people are refusing to celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan today as there is no full moon on Udayatithi.
According to the Panchang, today Rahukal will remain from 02.05 pm to 03.45 minutes. It is not considered good to do auspicious work during this period. The full moon of Shravan will end tomorrow i.e. on 12th August at 07.05 am. It is Bhadrakal since morning. Which will remain till 08.51 pm. Rakshabandhan should not be done during this too. Apart from this, when Bhadra ends, Rakhi should not be tied even because it is night.
Tomorrow i.e. on 12th August, the date of full moon will remain till 07.05 am and there is no Bhadra during that time. Apart from this, Udayatithi i.e. at the time of rising of the sun is also the date of full moon. For this reason, it is being said that it is right to celebrate the festival of Rakshabandhan only tomorrow. If you celebrate the festival of Rakshabandhan, then according to the calculation of Panchang, tie rakhi on brother’s wrist by 07.05 in the morning and tilak them.
