Suhela. In the village of the region, continuous Navdha, seven-day and five-day Ramayana ceremony is going on. At the same time, dozens of teams of Manas Mandali are going from village to village and narrating the essence of Ramayana story. A monolithic five-day Ramayana was organized in the nearby village Jangra. In which many Manas congregations of remote areas participated. On the occasion of concluding day, social worker and convener of Self Sonchand Verma Smriti Foundation, Tank Ram Verma, who was present as the chief guest, offered prayers to Lord Shri Ramchandra and Mavli Mata. Also congratulating the villagers and the organizers, social worker Tank Ram Verma said that Ram Katha makes life beautiful and happy, Ram Katha is a story of sacrifice and dedication.
He said that at present people are engaged in building wealth. He considers wealth as the basis of his happiness and peace, and on the other hand, Ram Katha tells that the basis of happiness and peace is love, renunciation and brotherhood. The love, unity and sacrifice of the four brothers is incomparable. When Lord Rama was in exile, the royal text was handed over to Bharata but Bharata did not accept to sit on the throne while the elder brother was there. He used to worship on a daily basis by placing the footpad of Lord Rama on the throne. Just as Lord Rama spent 14 years in the forest sacrificing all the comforts, in the same way India also left all the comforts of the state and lived like a forest dweller. Their sacrifice and dedication are inspirational for the entire human society. But today’s people are more engaged in earning money for themselves except brother and fodder for personal selfishness, but are not able to devote even a little of their time in the ongoing Ramayana ceremony in the village.
On this occasion Lunkaran Verma BJP Yuva Morcha President, Sheshnarayan Kashyap, Chetan Verma, Yamuna Prasad Mishra, Jaiprakash Dhurandhar (Sarpanch representative), Ramanuj Devdas (Sarpanch Billaidbury), Dilip Verma (Former Sarpanch), Bisoha Verma, Branch Ram Dhruv, Vishwanath Thakur Devendra Patel, Govind Nishad teacher, Meghnath Nishad and all the villagers were present.
Learn to respect women from Jatayu
The new day Ramayana function was organized in village Sonadih. On the closing day of the function, social worker and vice-president of District Panchayat Raipur, Tank Ram Verma said that women have been respected in Ram Katha and a war has been fought to protect their honor. In today’s society, despite being ahead in the field of education, women are not getting proper place and respect. The incidents of harassment of women are increasing continuously and the society is silent on seeing it. Giving the example of Mahabharata and Ram Katha, the social worker said that women were insulted in both the times. The one who kept silent seeing the insult of the woman and who fought to save the woman from the humiliation. Both of them got different results at the end of their life. In Treta Yuga, Jatayu challenged and fought Ravana to protect Mother Sita. While fighting, Jatayu was lying in death due to his wings being cut off. Lord Rama had darshan before his death.
On the other hand Pitamah Bhishma was lying on the bed of arrows in the field of Kurukshetra. Tears were flowing from eyes. Lord Krishna was smiling standing beside him. The only reason for this was that Jatayu laid down his life to protect Mother Sita, even though he knew that he was in old age and would not be able to win against Ravana, yet fought with Ravana without worrying about his life. On the other hand, in the meeting of Hastinapur, when Draupati was ripped off, the grandfather Bhishma was also sitting there. Such a big incident happened in front of him but did not utter a word from his mouth in protest. Had Pitamah Bhishma roared, perhaps there would not have been an incident of chir-haran. On this occasion all the villagers including Latel Pal, Ramkumar Pal, Rameshwar Dhruv, Jeevan Sahu, Mohit Pal, Gopal Nishad, Rajendra Sahu, Mohit Rajak, Omprakash Jaiswal, Pushpa Sahu, Laxmin Pal, Dashmat Pal, Gomti Pal were present on this occasion. .
