After the year 2017, for the first time flood-like conditions have arisen around the Rajrappa temple. Here, the temple justice committee is constantly alerting people through mikes. At the same time, for safety reasons, the police administration is forbidding people from going to the river bank and taking selfies. The water level of Damodar- Bhairavi is continuously rising.

Due to the flood in Bhairavi, hundreds of shops adjacent to the temple and the river were washed away and the goods kept inside them were also destroyed. The Chhilka bridge built on the Bhairavi river has completely submerged in water. The road to the temple from Gola has been closed due to this. Water has still entered many shops. Due to this, it is feared that if it continues to rain like this, the situation may worsen further.

The main gate of the Keyu Complex has been closed, but devotees continue to reach the temple. Temple Trust Committee Secretary Subhashis Panda said that the temple committee and the district administration are fully alerting people about security. Police personnel have been deployed at various places. Everyone is being stopped from going to the river bank and continuous announcements are being made from the temple through mike.
