He said that Sourav Ganguly had sent him an invitation twice to watch the final match of the IPL. But I did not go due to the emotional connection of the fans and the current political situation. Rameez Raja said that “Sourav Ganguly had invited me twice to watch the final of IPL last year. It made sense to go cricket this year, but due to the situation, we had to look at the consequences of accepting the invitation.”
After this, Rameez Raja praised the Pakistani cricket team and himself and said that “I became the chairman of PCB in September last year. Since that time the performance of the Pakistan team has been better than the rest of the Test playing countries. Pakistan has played 24 matches in all three formats since I became the chairman.
