Jaipur . International famous separatza player Ramnath Chaudhary, a resident of Bada Padampura village in Chaksu region, who recognized the folkduns of Rajasthan worldwide, met the Deputy Chief Minister of the state Diya Kumari in the secretariat. Convizing his art, achievements and life struggle, he urged him to be honored at the national level by the central government.
Ramnath Chaudhary is not an ordinary artist – he is the first artist in the world who is proficient in the rare art of playing separate, and his name is recorded in the World Book of Records and India Book of Records. He has become the cultural identity of Rajasthan in the country and abroad with his 12 feet long historical mustache, raw mare dance, traditional costumes and unique playing.
He submitted information about the documents of his works, list of awards and contribution given on national and international forums to the Deputy Chief Minister. On this, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said that “folk arts of Rajasthan are our soul, and artists like Ramnath ji. The government will make every effort to bring his art to the highest stage of the country.”
He assured that the state government would send a recommendation to the Center, so that he can be given medals/honors in the folk art sector at the national level. At the same time, he also indicated that Ramnath Chaudhary will also be given special state honors by the Rajasthan government.
