The reason is that the situation regarding the previous champion Jaswant Singh Baghel of the Army could not be clarified till late night. This time too in the men’s category, the competition is likely to be only among the Army runners. It is being expressed.
Many Army runners have reached Prayagraj to take part in this prestigious race of 42.195 kilometers in the morning. Some of them did warm-up in the evening at Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium. Prayagraj resident Anil Kumar, who stood third last year, will become the winner this time. Do not want to leave any stone unturned. Apart from them, Yogesh of Hyderabad, Nadeem of Pune, Nazim of Kerala, Parshu of Karnataka, Shivam Ram and Umesh of Maharashtra. Mohan is also considered a strong contender. Trainee IAS officer Anubhav Singh posted in Prayagraj can also be seen running. In the women’s category, apart from Reenu, Asha TP of Kerala, Gudiya of Dehradun and Sonika of Haryana have come to Sangamnagar with better preparation. Till late night, 229 entries were received in the men’s category and 60 in the women’s category.
There may be difficulty at three places: Runners may have to face difficulty at Mazar Square, Mayorabad Square and Bairhana in the marathon route. The road at these three places is very bad. Runners will pass through these routes
Starting from Anand Bhawan, the race will go to Baba Mazar, MNNIT Gate, Cold Store, Police Line, Rana Pratap Square, Dhobighat Square, Indira Gandhi Square, High Court, MG Marg, Bairahna, New Naini Bridge, Rewan Road and return from Bharat Petrol Pump in Dandupur. The new Naini bridge will pass through Bairahna, MG Marg, Hanuman Mandir intersection and end at Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium.
