On March 27, Kejriwal met Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) leader and Didiyapada MLA Mahesh Vasava. His party currently has two MLAs. After this meeting, it is now being speculated that his party may form an alliance with AAP in the coming assembly elections.

Ahead of the meetings, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited the Swami Narayan Mandir in Ahmedabad, whose followers are mainly the Patidar community with influence in Gujarat politics.
