Ayodhya, November 3 (IANS) | For the historic Deepotsav in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, the Ram Ghat here has been decorated like a bride with colorful lights. Entire Ayodhya has become Rammay. Yogi Adityanath has reached Ramnagari Ayodhya to participate in the Deepotsav.Governor Anandiben Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma, ministers of the UP government and other guests have arrived to attend the function.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Ayodhya on Wednesday afternoon, where he welcomed Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman ji who descended from Pushpak Viman in the form of a helicopter and then performed their coronation. Simultaneously, the event continues.
Around 1200 artists from the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Noida, Jhansi, Nagpur, Punjab etc. are exhibiting scenes of folk culture in the Deepotsav. About a dozen artists from all over Lucknow are performing Awadhi folk dance. The Kalbelia dance of Jaipur, Bhangra of Punjab, Pai Danda of Banda, Bam Rasia of Mathura, Rai of Jhansi, the richness of folk culture is visible through the instrumental playing of Sonbhadra. Haryanvi dance, Chhau dance of Jharkhand is giving grandeur to the tableaux.Ramlala will be dressed in a green silk dress on Deepotsav. Ramadal President Pt. Kalkiram presented Ramlala’s dress to Acharya Satyendradas, the chief archak of Ramlala. Rupesh Singh of Varanasi made the eve of Deepotsav memorable by carrying forward the tradition of veteran artist Sudarshan Patnaik. He made a beautiful marking of the union of Shri Ram and Bharat with the sand of the virtuous Salila Saryu.
The Chief Minister will also visit Ramlala’s court, after which many ministers including the Chief Minister, Governor will also perform the grand aarti of Maa Saryu. Here the colorful Ayodhya will look like heaven with laser show, garland of lamps. To make a record on 32 ghats of Ram ki Paidi, 12 thousand youth of Awadh will achieve the goal of lighting nine lakh lamps by lighting seven and a half lakh lamps simultaneously in 40 minutes and making a new world record of keeping them burning for five minutes.Ram’s Padi has become the center of attraction in the Deepotsav. Maharishi Valmiki will narrate Ram Katha on the screen of 337 feed on Ram Ki Paidi. There are three layers of lights installed here. The sound system is installed at 32 ft. Maharishi Valmiki will personally visit the ghat of Ayodhya and narrate the story of Ram on three different types of screens at the ghat. The light and sound show in the multimedia show is enthralling the audience and the devotees. Through Projection Mapping, a multi-dimensional holographic image of Maharishi Valmiki will descend on the holy land of Ayodhya.
This time there will be fireworks of green firecrackers on the Saryu bridge. Other guests including the Chief Minister will watch the fireworks from the Saryu coast. A separate forum has been set up here for this. There will be fireworks for about 20 minutes.Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma and Minister-in-Charge Neelkanth Tiwari flagged off the Deep Utsav Shobha Yatra from Saket Mahavidyalaya. With this, the celebration of Deepotsav started in Ayodhya. Tableaux bringing alive the Tretayug events came out from Saket Mahavidyalaya.
