Late came, but on the lines of good, Sharad Yadav has written a new chapter in the politics of Bihar. After 25 years he again became Lalu Yadav. Sharad Yadav merged his party Loktantrik Janata Dal with Rashtriya Janata Dal. Although there was speculation about it for a long time, the final seal on the merger could be taken only on Sunday.
Sharad Yadav said that establishing a strong opposition in the country is the need of the hour. I have been working in this direction for a long time to unite not only the scattered Janata Dal but other like-minded parties. For this reason, he decided to merge his party LJD with RJD. Now the battle will be fought vigorously. He says that unity is necessary first. Who will lead the opposition camp in the fight with the BJP is the latter question.
Merger of our party with RJD is first step towards opposition unity. It’s imperative that the whole opposition gets united across India to defeat BJP. As of now, unification is our priority, it’ll be only after that we would think about who’ll lead the united opposition:Sharad Yadav

Sharad Yadav says that he was engaged for a long time in uniting his old comrades of Janata Dal. Having a strong opposition is the need of the hour. If this is not done in time, it will be a big loss. We have to forget our important and make a strong front against BJP. Only then will we be able to defeat him in 2024.
On the other hand, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Assembly Tejashwi Yadav said that Shad Yadav is like a father to him. It is a great success to have him with us. RJD will get a lot of strength by getting Sharad Yadav’s support in its fight. Tejashwi says that everyone knows how important Sharad Yadav’s place is in Indian politics. He will guide us.
Loktantrik Janata Dal was formed by Sharad Yadav in 2018. Although no election was contested under the party’s flag, Sharad Yadav himself had landed from Madhepura in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. During that time he had come to the ground on an RJD ticket. He had to face defeat from there. Since then, he has gone on political margins. Since then there were constant discussions that he might come with RJD. For the past several days, there were speculations that he might merge his party with the RJD. But today it was agreed in New Delhi.
