Accusing the BJP of playing politics over the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday questioned how many of them have been resettled in the Valley by the party since coming to power.
As the war of words between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party started over The Kashmir Files, Kejriwal once again suggested that the film should be uploaded on YouTube and the earnings so far should be spent on the welfare of Kashmiri Pandits. Needed.
Responding to a question on his remarks on the film and criticism of the BJP, Kejriwal said that since the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, there have been BJP governments at the Center for 13 years. Has any Kashmiri Pandit family been rehabilitated during this period? He said that not a single family has returned to Kashmir.
Kejriwal said that concrete steps should be taken so that Kashmir Pandits can return to their homes. He said that the film has earned around Rs 200 crore. He said that he is earning money from someone’s tragedy.
The Chief Minister said, this is a crime. The country will not tolerate this. He said that BJP is doing politics on this issue. He said that the film should be uploaded on YouTube. The money earned from this should be spent on Kashmiri Pandits.
Kejriwal had made this suggestion for the first time in the assembly on Thursday. He criticized the move to make the film tax-free and suggested the filmmaker to put it on YouTube so that everyone can see it.
On the other hand, the BJP retaliated and accused Kejriwal of mocking those who lost their lives in Jammu and Kashmir due to terrorism. Never forget this, tweeted BJP General Secretary BL Santosh, posting a picture of Kejriwal and other AAP MLAs laughing in the Delhi Assembly. Santosh said that Kejriwal is laughing at those who lost their lives. He wrote – Shameless anarchist.
