Violence took place on Ram Navami in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh and after the violence, the Madhya Pradesh government is taking bulldozer action against the accused. Houses and shops of many people are being demolished and it is being told that these houses have been built by encroachment. Meanwhile, action was also taken on a house built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and it was demolished. This action was taken by the district administration in Khaskhaswadi area of Khargone.
According to the document, the house on Birla Marg was registered in the name of Hasina Fakhru after the death of her husband, who was the original beneficiary of the PM Awas Yojana. 60-year-old Haseena cried and said, “On Monday morning, a team of municipal workers arrived with a bulldozer. They pushed me and erased it on the outside wall where it was written that the house was built under the housing scheme and demolished the house within minutes.
It was one of the 12 houses demolished by the district administration in the area as part of a drive against illegal properties. A total of 16 houses and 29 shops were demolished at four places in the city after the clashes on Sunday.
Hasina and her family include a total of 7 people, which include five sons and two daughters. Hasina’s 35-year-old son Amjad Khan (who works as a labourer) said, “Till 2020 we lived in a kutcha house on the plot. When we got approval under the housing scheme in 2020, we built a pucca house. We got 2.5 lakh rupees from the government and had saved one lakh more for building a house.
