Ahead of the results of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has raised questions about EVMs. During a press conference, the Samajwadi Party chief alleged that EVM machines were being transported without security. He said that EVM machines have been caught. Now the officials will make some excuse that we were carrying EVMs because of this. Akhilesh Yadav said that EVM machines have been caught in a garbage cart in Bareilly.
Akhilesh Yadav told the party people, “Uttar Pradesh elections are the last battle of democracy. After this people will have to revolutionize then only change will come. I will tell the people of my party that where the machines have been kept, till the counting is not done, no one should come and keep an eye on it.
Akhilesh Yadav claimed that the Samajwadi Party is winning in Banaras and Ayodhya, the BJP is worried about it. He said that the SP alliance will reach 300 seats. Along with this, he also reacted to the exit polls. Akhilesh Yadav said, “Exit polls have been done so that what is stolen can be covered up.” Subhaspa chief Omprakash Rajbhar was also present during the press conference.
Akhilesh Yadav said, “Exit polls have been done so that whatever is stolen can be covered up. With the exit poll results that have come yesterday, these people want to create the impression that BJP is winning, so that even if they steal, they will not even know that it has been stolen. This is a huge threat to democracy.”
On the other hand, SP leader Azam Khan has got relief. Azam Khan has got bail from the Allahabad High Court in the land grab case, but he will not be able to come out of jail right now. The decision of the High Court is reserved in two cases. Azam Khan is currently lodged in Sitapur Jail.
