Mukesh Ambani Reliance Industries led by Reliance Industries has secured the top position in the ‘India Involved Ranking’ 2023. This index examines how Indian companies are committed to a developed India. Scotch, a leading Indian research institute that considers socio-economic issues and focuses on inclusive growth, prepared the ranking and index after a six-month study. In this, a list of top-20 companies on ‘India Involved Ranking’ has been prepared by analyzing many companies on the basis of 231 indicators.
Place of HUL and Adani Group after Reliance
After Reliance, Hindustan Unilever and Adani Group are in place. Scotch said in the statement that Jio Platforms Limited secured the top position in the ‘India Involved Ranking’ in the Digital Transformation category. This was followed by Lupine and Heritage Food. Similarly, Bank of India secured the top position in the corporate excellence category. It was followed by HDFC Life Insurance and Aditya Birla Health Insurance.
‘Whatever is good for India is good for Reliance’
Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance has always believed that what is good for India is good for Reliance. Reliance has time and again demonstrated its commitment to a developed India. Scotch Group’s ‘India Involved’ index aims to assess the contribution of companies to India’s inclusive growth, offering a more detailed analysis of corporate excellence, ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) and digital transformation impacts.
