According to the Meteorological Department, many parts of the country may receive thunderstorms and strong winds on Monday. This will give relief to the people from the scorching sun. Actually, at present the Western Disturbance is near Pakistan and Afghanistan and it is gradually moving towards Delhi. Due to this effect, there may be rain in North-West India.
Meteorological Department scientist said, ‘We are issuing rain and strong winds alert for entire Northwest India. It includes Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh. It will remain cloudy till May 5 and there is a possibility of dust storm. During this the temperature will be normal. People will get relief from the scorching heat.
The Meteorological Department has predicted the onset of monsoon on May 15. However, from Monday, the hope of relief from the scorching heat has been expressed in many parts of the country. He said, after May 7, once again the heat can wreak its havoc, although it has not been accurately estimated yet. According to the recent data, the temperature has decreased in many places.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is no hope of relief from heat in western Rajasthan, Vidarbha. It is being told that this time in Central India was the hottest April after 122 years.
