Now TB tests will be done with Truenet machine in 16 more centers including Sadar Hospital, which will make it easier to test the patients and treatment can be started as soon as possible. Actually, as per the order of the State Tuberculosis Department, BMSICL has started the Truenet machine facility in many hospitals of the district to run it smoothly.
The facility of Truenet machine has been started in primary health centers including Sadar Hospital. This machine will be used for testing potential TB patients. Truenet machine has been installed in 16 health institutions of the district, which include CHC Rajnagar, DTC Madhubani, SDH Jhanjharpur, CHC Basopatti, SDH Phulparas, PHC Madhepur, SDH Benipatti, SDH Jaynagar, CHC Bisfi, PHC Pandaul, CHC Babubarhi, CHC Madhavapur, CHC Basopatti, CHC Khajauli, CHC Ladniya, CHC Laukahi, PHC Andharathadhi and CHC Rajnagar.
Testing and treatment will be free
Free facility for treatment of TB patients is available in primary and community health centres in all blocks of the district, free medicines are also given to the patients.

Giving information to the journalists, Madhubani Civil Surgeon Dr. Naresh Bhimsaria said that a resolution has been taken to make the state TB free in 2025. Therefore, various measures are being taken to prevent TB disease. Efforts are also being made to make people aware to control TB disease. According to Dr. Naresh, TB (Tuberculosis) is an infectious disease caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This bacterium spreads through the air and usually infects the lungs, but can also infect other parts of the body. When TB bacteria enter a person’s body, they cause infection in the lungs. Symptoms of TB include cough, sputum, fever, fatigue, weight loss and night sweats. It is usually diagnosed through chest X-ray and sputum examination, but with the arrival of this machine, the symptoms will be confirmed soon and treatment will also be done on time.
