new Delhi. Congress remembered Bhagat Singh on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, he had not imagined today’s India in such a way that superstition and religious hysteria should be paramount.
Remembering him, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi tweeted and said, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru are those thoughts, which will remain immortal forever. Whenever any voice will be raised against injustice, these martyrs will have an expression in that voice. In the heart which will have the passion to die for the country, the names of these three heroes will be in that heart.
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi tweeted and said, the martyrdom of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev was for the dream of such a system. which is not divided but based on equality
In which not the ego of power, the rights of citizens should be given priority and together let’s build the future of the country, let’s strengthen these ideas together.
On the other hand, Congress General Secretary and Karnataka in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala wrote in his blog that dedicated to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru –
Bhagat Singh had said in his last message that the struggle in India will continue as long as a handful of exploiters continue to exploit the labor of the common people for their own benefit. It does not matter whether the exploiters are British bourgeoisie or an alliance of British and Indians or wholly Indian.
Bhagat Singh was an idea which was against exploitation, discrimination and mental slavery. He had a dream of establishing such a system in his mind where one person could not exploit the other. Where there is ideological freedom and there is no place for mental slavery. Human should be considered as human. Let there be no place for discrimination. Where human beings are guaranteed social security.
He wrote in the blog, it is our misfortune that today we have made Bhagat Singh just a brand and have rejected his thinking. If it were not so, then the ideological difference would not have been treason, no conspiracy would have been hatched to hand over the peasants and laborers to the capitalists. Religious thought was not an issue of choice. Mere caste was not the basis for victory. While choosing a leader, we look at his policy and ability, not his caste and religion. No leader would have dared to ask for votes of people by telling their caste, neither would the party.
It cannot be imagined in Bhagat Singh’s India that no matter how much inflation, unemployment, exploitation, inequality, discrimination increase; No matter how deep the dark clouds of insecurity and hatred go; Parliament and institutions may be paralyzed; The Constitution may gradually become a book rather than a living thing; Superstition and religious fanaticism should be paramount.
It is a matter of great regret that Bhagat Singh, who had called for a revolution against discrimination and caste-division, the leaders who strengthened the system based on discrimination are tricking the public by declaring themselves as the real heirs of Bhagat Singh’s ideology. .
