Mumbai . Retired Senior Inspector Hemant Bawdhankar of the Mumbai Police described the extradition of India as a major achievement of the 26/11 attack accused Tehwwur Rana. He said that he wants Tahwwur Rana to be punished severely. Talking to , retired Senior Inspector Hemant Bawdhankar of Mumbai Police said, “This is an important achievement of India and I want to congratulate the NIA team for their efforts. The (America) which took place and we put our side in the Supreme Court there, which the court accepted by the court. (Tehwavur Rana) was prosecuted in the Indian court and he was punished strictly. “
He further said, “Everything is the time and according to it everything goes. We have succeeded in the attempt to bring Tahwwur Rana to India. The face of Pakistan was exposed at a time when India said that Pakistan is hand in this attack and the terrorist organization (Lashkar-e-Taiba) sitting there had done it through ISI.”
Referring to 26/11, Hemant Bawdhankar said, “When there was an attack on Mumbai, every one Mumbaikar felt that moment. I had a night duty during that attack and during that time the terrorist Kasab was caught, while the rest of the terrorists were killed. Tukaram Ombale had got success in catching Kasab only because of Tukaram Ombale. I will never be able to forget. “
The central government has appointed advocate Narendra Mann as Special Public Prosecutor (Special Public Prosecutor) to hear the important case related to the 26/11 Mumbai attack.
This appointment has been made for conducting the case of National Investigation Agency (NIA) RC-04/2009/NIA/DLI and other cases related to it. Narendra Mann will advocate for NIA in special NIA special courts and appellate courts in Delhi. The government gave this information through an official gazette notification.
