Hanumangarh. The district level review meeting of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of District Collector Kana Ram. In the meeting, the District Collector directed that from the month of July, ‘birth anniversary of daughters’ should be celebrated at every Anganwadi center and gram panchayat level. Through this initiative, positive thinking towards daughters will be encouraged in society.
The District Collector instructed CMHO Dr. Navneet Sharma to install sunboards at all ultrasound centers regarding the promotion of the informer scheme. Under Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, instructions were given to the Education Department, Medical Department, Women Empowerment Department, Bank and Post Office officials to open accounts of maximum girls.
The Education Department also instructed the Department of Education to prepare a plan of the next three months for the students’ self -defense training program. Also, the availability of sanitary pad disposal machines in schools was asked to submit a report in a week. The students who excel at the state and national level will be honored through Bhamashahs, so that other students can also be inspired.
In the meeting, Women Empowerment Department Assistant Director Jagdish Chaudhary presented the details of the proceedings of the last meeting. Additional SP Neelam Chaudhary, CMHO Dr. Navneet Sharma, ACEO Sunil Chhabra, CPO Vinod Godara, Labor Welfare Officer Devendra Modi, ADEO (Ma) Ranveer Sharma, DEO (Pvt.) Seema Bhalla and officials of various departments were present in the meeting.
