Kumawat directed to bring some flexibility in the guidelines of the Gaushala Act 1960 to resolve this problem and said that some amendments should be made in the rules of the scheme of shelter sites at the panchayat level so that the facilities are facilitated in opening the cowsheds and their number should increase.

Kumawat also instructed the officials to dispose of pending cases of Goshala Development Scheme as soon as possible and bring them to zero. It was informed at the meeting that most pending cases have been disposed of. Kumawat said that the ineligible Gaushalas should be guided by the department so that they too can prove their eligibility and they can also get support from the government so that the cowsheds can run well.
