Politics is at its peak in the case of rape and murder of a junior doctor in Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reached Raj Bhavan on Thursday on the occasion of Independence Day. But after the tea party, she fiercely targeted BJP and leftist parties. She said, these two parties are responsible for whatever disturbance happened in the hospital on Wednesday night. But while speaking, she said something that created a ruckus. Mamata said, whatever happened in the hospital last night is the handiwork of ‘Bam and Ram’. People are asking on social media that why does Mamata hate Ram so much.
Talking about the violence that took place at RG Kar Hospital on Wednesday night, Mamata Banerjee said, there is no problem with the protests of students or doctors, but some political parties are trying to create problems. You will understand only after watching the video. Isn’t making fake videos a crime? As far as I have got information, I will not blame the students… The Left and the Ram are doing this together… The incident is very unfortunate, we still say that the culprit should be hanged. Mamata Banerjee said, we have given all the documents, whatever is leaking, till the time our police was investigating, nothing was leaked. My and the people of Bengal’s sympathies are with the victim’s family. This is a very big crime, its only punishment is hanging, if the culprit is hanged then only people will learn a lesson from it but no innocent should be punished.
If they have the national flag in their hands then they are BJP people
Mamata Banerjee said, those who caused damage in RG Kar yesterday, those who created this ruckus are not associated with the student movement of RG Kar, they are outsiders. In the videos I have seen, some people are holding national flags, they are BJP people, and some people are holding white and red flags. Yesterday, the police was also attacked. The police people were attacked a lot, but I would like to congratulate them that they did not lose patience. They did not hurt anyone for the sake of peace. Now the case is not in our hands, it is in the hands of CBI, if you have something to say, tell CBI, we have no objection.
Targeting Hindu sentiments
There was an uproar on social media over the words Bam-Ram. People are asking why Mamata hates the word Ram so much. Some people said, blaming ‘Ram and Bam’ for the vandalism in RG Kar Hospital is to divert the matter from the real issue. She is targeting Hindu sentiments by blaming Ram. Whereas she remains silent on the massacre of Hindus in Bangladesh. This will increase the anger further. The deliberate barbarity in RG Kar is a deep conspiracy. CPI(M) also attacked Mamata. It said, Chief Minister Banerjee has both the Health and Home departments. Therefore, she is responsible for this incident. She should resign immediately.
