Jaipur. The two -day capacity building workshop organized by Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Limited (RICO) was successfully concluded on Tuesday. The workshop was held on May 20 and 21, 2025 at Rico Headquarters, Jaipur, in which in-charge, sub-unit in-charge and senior officials of the headquarters participated in various unit offices of Rico from across the state.
The purpose of the workshop was to further strengthen the functioning of Rico, facilitate investors and speed up industrial development. In the two -day sessions, there was a comprehensive discussion on important disciplines like Rico Disposal of Land Rules, 1979 (revised form), land identification and allocation, land acquisition from private account holders, planning of industrial areas, allocation and cancellation, skilled use of ERP modules, legal aspects, NCLT affairs, civil works monitoring, focal work monitoring, finant reporting and investor reporting system.
Senior officials shared experiences
Senior officials of Rico shared their experiences and emphasized on increasing the efficiency in administrative transparency, early decision process and service to the participants in the workshop. Officials clarified that Rico’s purpose is not only limited to land allocation, but it wants to create a complete industrial ecology, in which investors, entrepreneurs and local citizens are all benefited.
Rico’s priority to remove MoU on the ground
It was told in the workshop that 4720 MoUs have been executed by Rico so far under the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ campaign. It is the priority of Rico to bring investment in the state by changing these MoUs into reality, generating employment and giving impetus to economic development.
In this sequence, online applications are being invited by May 28, 2025 under the second phase of direct land-raising scheme 2025. All unit in-charge were directed to make personal contact with each MoU holder and encourage them to apply under the Direct Land Re-Affairs Scheme, so that the proposals for investment can land on the ground.
Emphasis on maintenance and solution system of industrial areas
Rico also issued clear guidelines regarding proper maintenance, sanitation, environmental management and early solution of entrepreneurs working in industrial areas of industrial areas. All in -charge were instructed to solve the problems of the allottees on a priority basis and keep the communication with them regular.
Suggestion and feedback based improvement initiative
In the final session of the workshop, feedback and suggestions were also received from all the officials present in the context of future industrial strategies, investment attractions and administrative reforms. There are plans to make the functioning more effective and transparent by including these suggestions in the upcoming action plans of Rico.
