Whereas he has not been playing Test cricket for the last one year. Three Indian players are included in the top-10 in the ICC Test rankings. While New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is at number one. Rishabh Pant moved up one place
Rishabh Pant played his last Test match for the Indian team in the year 2022 against Bangladesh. But since then he has not played Test for Team India. He met with an accident in December 2022. Because of this he stayed away from the cricket field and could not play Test matches. Now Rishabh Pant has gained one place in the new ICC rankings released by ICC. He has reached number 15. He has 692 rating points. Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel has also moved up one place to reach 14th position. He has 693 rating points.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam is at number three.
Kane Williamson is at first place in the new ICC Test rankings for batsmen. He has 859 rating points. The routes which are at number two. He has 824 rating points. Pakistan’s Babar Azam is at third position. He has 768 rating points.
Three Indian players included in top-10
Three Indian players are included in the top-10 of the new ICC Test rankings for batsmen. Rohit Sharma is at number six. He has 751 rating points. Yashasvi Jaiswal is at number seven. He has 740 rating points. Virat Kohli is at number 9. He has 737 rating points. Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal performed well in the Test series against England. Jaiswal had scored two double centuries in the series and was the highest run scorer in the series. For this reason he received the Player of the Series award. Whereas Virat Kohli did not play in the series against England.
