Patna. RJD officially announced the names of its 22 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 late on Tuesday night. Releasing the list on the social media platform The party has fielded Munna Shukla from Vaishali.
The party has fielded Kumar Sarvjit Paswan from Gaya, Shravan Kumar Kushwaha from Nawada, Rohini Acharya from Saran, Archana Ravidas from Jamui, Jaiprakash Yadav from Bakan, Bima Bharti from Purnia, Lalit Yadav from Darbhanga, Sudhakar Singh from Buxar, Chandrahas Chaupal from Supaul, Patliputra. Dr. Misa Bharti from Vaishali, Vijay Kumar Shukla alias Munna Shukla from Vaishali, Abhay Kumar Kushwaha from Aurangabad, Shivchandra Ram from Hajipur, Shahnawaz Alam from Araria, Dr. Surendra Prasad from Jehanabad, Anita Devi Mahato from Munger, Arjun Rai from Sitamarhi, Ujiarpur. Alok Kumar Mahato from Madhubani, Ali Ashraf Fatmi from Madhubani, Deepak Yadav from Valmikinagar, Ritu Jaiswal from Shivhar and Madhepura Prof. Kumar Chandradeep has been made the candidate.
Siwan seat on hold
Recently, after the seat distribution in the Grand Alliance, RJD had got 26 out of 40 seats in the state. RJD has also given three seats from its quota to Mukesh Sahni’s VIP party. The party has not yet declared its candidate for Siwan.
RJD made 8 Yadav and 2 Muslim candidates out of 22 in the list.

Out of 22 candidates declared by RJD, 8 candidates are from Yadav caste. The party has given opportunity to 2 Muslim candidates. Apart from this, the party has fielded two upper castes, two Koeris, one Kurmi and one Dalit and one Vaishya in the election contest. Chirag Paswan will face RJD’s Shivchandra Ram on Hajipur seat. Whereas, Ritu Jaiswal will be RJD candidate from Shivhar. Ritu has been a chief before this and has also contested the 2020 assembly elections. Lovely Anand from JDU is contesting from Shivhar.
