Jaipur. Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) has announced an increase in passenger fares of long distance buses. This amendment has been made by the corporation on the basis of notification issued by the State Government’s Transport and Road Safety Department on 4 August 2025. The new rates were implemented from midnight of 5 and 6 August, ie 6 August 2025. According to the order issued by the corporation, the fare of ordinary class buses has now been increased from 85 paise per kilometer to 95 paise. The fare of express and mail buses increased from 90 paise to 100 paise, while the fare of cm deluxe buses has increased from 98 paise to 110 paise per kilometer. Deluxe (non -AC) category buses will be charged from 110 paise to 125 paise per kilometer. The fare of air -conditioned buses has been increased from 165 paise to 180 paise and air -conditioned super luxury buses have been increased from 190 paise to 210 paise per kilometer.
The corporation has clarified that apart from the new fare rates, separate surcharge, such as accident compensation, human resource fee, IT fee and toll tax, will continue as before. Apart from this, all other conditions will be applicable as per the order of 14 June 2016.
After this increase, millions of passengers of the state will be affected, especially those who travel long distances daily. The corporation says that due to increasing operational expenses and government instructions, fare amendment was necessary.
