In Nagpur, Maharashtra, police have arrested a woman in a theft case. A 24-year-old woman had stolen gold jewelery from a neighbour. When he told his story, even the policemen took pity on him. This woman got cheated in the name of love. The man she dreamed of marrying has completely robbed her and left her alone. The woman told that she has graduated from Arts. Pachpavali police has arrested him on charges of theft. Police have recovered gold worth Rs 1.23 lakh from him.
Lover robbed after promising marriage, then left
A woman was searching for a partner for marriage on a matrimonial site. During this time he became friends with a person. He promised to marry her and she fell in love with him. After this the man started robbing the woman. He started asking her for money from time to time on the pretext of meeting the wedding expenses. The woman was living the fantasy of a happy married life. She kept transferring her money to that man’s bank account. His money ran out, but the man did not keep his promise. When he realized that the woman had no more money, he gave himself away. The woman was completely devastated by this betrayal.
A woman started stealing to raise money
To raise money the woman resorted to theft. Late last month, he stole gold and valuables from a neighbor’s house in Adarsh Nagar. The victim came to know about the theft in the first week of September. The victim tried to find the valuables before going to the police. Later he contacted Pachpawli police station officer Baburao Raut. Raut said the police interrogated the maid, the cook and several relatives and friends of the victims, but nothing was found. Raut said, “We had doubts about the role of women. She often visited the victim’s house. During interrogation she broke down and spilled all the secrets.
