However, he stopped in the middle and went back to his position.

Washington Sundar bowled brilliantly in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. Sundar took three wickets for 30 runs in 10 overs with one maiden. Earlier, Sundar had also taken 1 wicket in the opening match of the series. But this performance could not make Team India win. Batting first, Sri Lanka’s team scored 240 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs. Kamindu Mendis scored 40 runs and Dunith Velalage scored 39 runs. Apart from this, Avishka Fernando also contributed 40 runs, but in response to this, the Indian team was all out for 208 runs.

He had also scored a half-century in the first match of the series. During this innings, Rohit Sharma surpassed Rahul Dravid in terms of scoring the most runs in ODIs. Rohit has 10831 runs in ODIs. He is now the fourth highest run-scorer in ODIs for India.
