New Delhi. The trial of the ropeway has started in Barsana, now devotees will not need to climb stairs to reach Radharani’s temple. Now devotees would like to know when the ropeway construction work will start and be completed after Barsana till Bihariji temple, so that they can have the convenience of darshan. Let’s know-
Thousands of devotees from all over the country reach Vrindavan every day to have darshan of Bihariji. These devotees face difficulty in reaching the temple due to traffic jams and ‘no entry’ of vehicles inside the city. Traveling by e-rickshaw also takes more time and causes inconvenience in every season, be it summer, winter or rainy season. Therefore, a plan has been made to run a ropeway here.
According to Prakash Gaur, CEO of ropeway construction company National Highway Logistics Management (NHLML), the first phase of work has been completed. A study has been done in this, now the feasibility report is being prepared, that is, which route will the ropeway take, so that maximum number of devotees can benefit. Where will the towers have to be built, so that there are minimum obstructions. After the feasibility report, DPR will be prepared.
There are plans to start a ropeway from Yamuna Expressway and NH 2 to the temple. These are the only two routes to reach the temple. Devotees will park their vehicles on the expressway or highway and board the ropeway. The ropeway route will include major temples and places of Vrindavan such as Vaishno Devi Temple, Chandrodaya Temple, Premdharma Temple, ISKCON Temple, Vidyapeeth and Atalla. The DPR will be prepared and the report will be handed over to the concerned agency soon and then the tender process will be started.
