New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi had promised in 2022 that by December 2023, 10 lakh youths would be given government jobs across the country. Modi is continuously fulfilling this promise. In the latest episode, he will give appointment letters for government jobs to 71000 more youths at 10.30 am today. This program will be virtual. Employment fair is going to be held at 45 places across the country today. Modi will also address the youth in this program. Modi had earlier given appointment letters of government jobs to the youth through employment fairs on 22 November 2022 and till 20 January and 13 April this year. Till now 288000 youths have got jobs in the central government. Including today’s figure, the number of people getting employment will now be 359000.
Modi government is giving new jobs in central departments and union territories. Recruitment examinations are being conducted fast for these jobs. Gramin Dak Sevak, Postal Inspector, Commercial and Ticket Clerk, Junior Clerk, Junior Account Clerk, Track Maintainer, Assistant Section Officer, Lower Division Clerk, Sub Divisional Officer, Tax Assistant, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Inspector, Nursing Officer, Assistant Security Officer, Appointments are being given on posts like Fire Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Audit Officer, Divisional Accounts Inspector, Auditor, Constable, Head Constable, Assistant Commandant, Headmaster, Assistant Registrar.
There are still 7 months left for this year to end. Sources in the central government say that the target of providing government jobs to 10 lakh youths will be met by December. According to sources, a committee of officers in the PMO is being constantly monitored. PM Modi himself keeps reviewing this work of giving government jobs in between. Modi government’s scheme to provide employment to the youth is such a comprehensive scheme of the central government which came after a long time.
