Lucknow. During the Lok Sabha elections, BJP was defeated in UP. BJP was claiming that it will win all the 80 Lok Sabha seats in UP, but it could win only 33 Lok Sabha seats. This has upset not only BJP but also the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Now ABP News has reported that in a meeting going on in Lucknow, RSS has found the reason for BJP’s huge defeat in UP.
The meeting of the eastern region officials of RSS is going on in Lucknow. Today is the second day of this meeting. The news channel has reported that in the first day’s meeting of the RSS officials, there was a discussion about the defeat in the Lok Sabha seats of UP. The reasons were discussed due to which the performance of BJP in UP was very poor in the Lok Sabha elections. According to the news, two main reasons for the plight of BJP have come to light in the brainstorming of RSS. In the RSS meeting, it was revealed that this time during the Lok Sabha elections, there was no coordination between it and BJP. Due to this, the officials of RSS remained indifferent and lax during the Lok Sabha elections. Apart from this, RSS is also believing that the votes of backward and Dalits also shifted from BJP to the camp of the opposition and this also led to the plight in a state like UP.
In this RSS meeting, there was a discussion on increasing the number of branches and instructions were given to do this. Apart from this, it was asked to prepare a strategy to make inroads among the backward and Dalits. Let us tell you that during the Lok Sabha elections itself, BJP’s national president JP Nadda had given a statement on RSS. JP Nadda had said that BJP is now self-reliant and takes its own decisions. Nadda had said that BJP has matured in the last few years and the situation is no longer like the era of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, when it was completely dependent on RSS.
