LPG cylinder price
New prices of LPG cylinders are released by the government on the first of every month. These prices are decided after review from the gas distribution companies. This includes the price of 14 kg domestic and 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder. In the beginning of April, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by about Rs 30. However, there was no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder.
HDFC Bank FD Deadline
You can invest in HDFC Bank’s Senior Citizen Care FD till May 10, 2024. Only senior citizens can invest in this FD. The biggest advantage of this FD is that additional interest is being given to senior citizens in comparison to normal interest rates.
ICICI and Yes Bank changed the charges
ICICI Bank has revised the savings account service charges of some services including check book, IMPS, ECS/NACH debit returns, stop payment charges and more. According to the website of ICICI Bank, these changes will come into effect from May 1, 2024. Now the debit card annual fee will be Rs 200. Whereas for rural areas it will be Rs 99 per year.
Apart from this, many types of charges have been changed by Yes Bank. In this, important changes have been made regarding minimum average balance charge in savings account. Now the minimum average balance in Saving Account Pro Max will be Rs 50 thousand. Its maximum charge will be Rs 1,000. Minimum average balance in Saving Account Pro Plus will be Rs 25 thousand. Its maximum charge will be Rs 750.
Apart from this, minimum average balance in savings account PRO will have to be Rs 10,000. Its maximum charge will be Rs 750. Minimum average balance in Saving Value and Kisan will have to be maintained at Rs 5,000. Its maximum charge will be Rs 500. My First Yes Savings Account must maintain a minimum average balance of Rs 2,500. Its maximum charge will be Rs 250.
Credit Card
Banks will levy 1% extra charge on utility bill payments through credit cards from 1st of next month. S Bank and IDFC First Bank announced that they will charge an additional 1 percent on utility bill payments through their credit cards from May 1, 2024. If you have a Yes Bank credit card, there will be a free usage limit of Rs 15,000. Whereas for IDFC First Bank it is Rs 20,000.
