Raipur (Naiduniya Representative). Russia-Ukraine Conflict: The heat of war between Russia and Ukraine has also come on edible oils. Within a week, the prices of edible oils have increased by up to Rs 20 a liter. Edible oil being sold for Rs 140 to 150 a liter has reached Rs 160 to 170 a liter. Also, edible oil sold for Rs 180 a liter has crossed Rs 200 a liter these days. Traders say that due to the war, the arrival of edible oils has been affected, while the demand in the market remains very high. The effect of this is being seen in the prices.
Almond and mustard oil cross 200 hundred rupees
These days, Foli oil and Mustard oil have crossed Rs 200 a liter. Similarly, soybean is being sold for Rs 170 a liter, palmolein up to Rs 160 a litre. In Chilhar, where edible oil has become costlier by Rs 20 a liter, in Teepe it has increased by up to Rs 300. In view of the market conditions, the stock is also being ordered by the traders thoughtfully. Businessman Manish Rathod said that now the festival is ahead and at such a time the demand for edible oils has increased a lot. The arrival of edible oils is very less as compared to the demand.
Here the price of spices also increased
Where there is a tremendous increase in the prices of edible oils. The increase in the prices of spices is adding to the taste of vegetables. Chilli, which is sold at Rs 140 to 200 per kg, is being sold at Rs 180 to 240 per kg these days. Coriander sold for Rs 80 to 120 is being sold for Rs 120 to 160 per kg. Similarly, turmeric worth Rs 100 to 140 per kg is being sold for Rs 120 to 160 per kg.
Jeera worth Rs 120 to 180 per kg is being sold for Rs 220 to 300 per kg. Thus the prices of spices have also increased from Rs 40 to Rs 80 per kg. Traders say that the arrival of spices remains very affected. It has also got worse due to the rain in the last days.
