Ukraine Crisis: The longer the war between Russia and Ukraine is dragging on, the concerns of Indian citizens and the country’s leaders are increasing. In view of the threat of war, it is becoming more difficult to rescue close to 15,000 Indian nationals trapped in Ukraine. At the same time, the danger for them is also increasing. In view of the dangerous war between Ukraine and Russia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has abandoned his visit to Uttar Pradesh midway. Let us tell you that still about 15000 students and citizens of India are trapped in Ukraine. On the other hand, Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said that we have sent a team of people from our Moscow embassy there so that the area is mapped and arrangements for transport, food, accommodation should be made. He said that the Indian government has launched Operation Ganga to evacuate its citizens from Ukraine. The Indian Embassy has set up crossing points on the borders of Poland, Romania, Hungary and the Slovak Republic, so that Indian nationals can be evacuated from Ukraine by land. Apart from this, 24-hour control centers have been set up to help Indian citizens.

The Foreign Secretary said that now, through neighboring countries, efforts are being made to rescue people trapped in Ukraine. He told that the officials of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs are present on the border. Some shelters have also been prepared for people to stay near the border. We are trying our best to get everyone out as soon as possible.
