Russia has greatly intensified its attack on Ukraine. Putin’s Foreign Ministry on Sunday warned Ukraine to hand over its security services chief and others to him. Russia has said that if this is not done by Zelensky then Russia will take major action. The Foreign Ministry said Russia is demanding that Ukraine hand over all individuals linked to terrorist acts committed in Russia. It also includes the head of Ukraine’s SBU security service.
“Russia has conveyed to the Ukrainian authorities its demands for the immediate arrest and extradition of all those involved in terrorist acts,” a ministry statement said after listing a number of violent incidents in Russia. Those to be handed over include SBU chief Vasyl Malyuk, who Russia says has admitted being behind attacks on the bridge linking Crimea to the Russian mainland following the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. It was only the hand.
