The world’s largest aircraft destroyed by Russian troops at an airfield near Kyiv

Meanwhile, the world’s largest aircraft was destroyed by Russian troops at an airfield near Kyiv. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba tweeted on Sunday confirming this in this regard. He said Moscow continued to attack its neighbor for the fourth day and caused significant damage.

Let us tell you that the An-225 Mriya, popularly known as ‘Dream’ in Ukraine, was built by Ukrainian aeronautics company Antonov and it was counted as the world’s largest cargo plane. It is said that the plane burned down at Hostomel airport outside Kyiv due to shelling from the Russian side.
Giving information in this matter, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine tweeted, “The world’s largest plane Mirya (The Dream) was destroyed by Russian troops at an airfield near Kyiv. We will rebuild this plane together. Only we will fulfill the dream of a strong, free and democratic Ukraine.” Along with this, the Twitter handle of Ukraine also made a tweet about it and tweeted a photo of the plane and wrote the message, “They burnt our biggest plane but our mriya (dreams) will never be destroyed.”

Significantly, the company that made this aircraft, Antonov, says that there is no information about the current condition of the aircraft. The technical condition of the aircraft can be told only after the AN-225 is inspected by the experts. Let us tell you that since the war that started on Thursday, Russia has been continuously attacking major cities of Ukraine with cruise missiles. It recaptured Ukraine’s second largest city Kharkiv on Sunday. As of Saturday, 198 civilians, including three children, have been killed in the Ukrainian conflict, while 1,115 people have been injured so far.
