Sarhasa. A tragic incident has come to light from Goshpur ward number 2 under Salkhua police station area of Saharsa district of Bihar, where a farmer died due to lightning in the field late on Sunday night. The deceased has been identified as about 53 -year -old Surendra Yadav, son of late Sukho Yadav. According to the information, Surendra Yadav was giving water from the pump set in his field for the paddy planting. He returned home when the rain started, but after the rain stopped, he went back to work in the field again. Then suddenly lightning fell on him and he died on the spot.
The family hurriedly rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. As soon as the incident was received, the local police reached the spot, took the body and sent it to Saharsa Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
