Chandigarh The general assembly of Tyagi Brahmin Sabha (Reg.) Chandigarh was held at Maharashtra Bhavan, Chandigarh under the chairmanship of Chandrapal Tyagi, in which about 50 members from Tricity participated. The meeting was launched by chanting of Gayatri Mantra, after which tributes were paid to innocent civilians killed by terrorists in Pahalgam, Kashmir. All the attendees bowed to the departed souls by keeping two minutes of silence. The meeting unanimously passed a resolution and appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give a strong reply to Pakistan for the murder of innocent people and the culprits should be punished strictly.
During the program, a tribute was also paid to the late Sushil Kumar Tyagi, the general secretary of the gathering. Recalling his contribution, the gathering said that during his tenure the Tyagi Brahmin Sabha made remarkable progress. A two -minute silence was also kept in his memory.
Assembly Secretary Kamal Tyagi and Chairman Chandrapal Tyagi, while operating, appealed that more and more people should join the meeting. Besides, information about upcoming programs was also shared and members were introduced among themselves.
BP Tyagi, Vipin Tyagi, Devraj Tyagi, Shyamlal Tyagi, Ashok Tyagi, Manoj Tyagi, Siddharth Tyagi, Sanjeev Tyagi, VK Tyagi, Usha, Kanchan, Seema, Neha Tyagi and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
