A surprising incident has come to light from Khusroopur area of Patna, the capital of Bihar. A minor Kahajuni took a violent form when a young man complained to the shopkeeper about the quality of samosas. After this, the shopkeeper and his associates brutally beat up the young man, killing him later. There is an atmosphere of tension in the entire area due to this incident.
Controversy over cold samosas
The incident took place on the evening of 16 May. The deceased has been identified as Ravi Kumar, father Shyam Babu Gop, resident Rajwada police station area. Ravi went to buy samosas at Baleshwar Rai’s samosa shop in Khusroopur. According to family members, samosas were cold and quality was also poor. When Ravi objected to this, he got into an argument with the shopkeeper. The debate increased so much that shop owner Baleshwar Rai and two of his colleagues started catching Ravi and began to beat badly.
Serious injuries and discharged from hospital
Ravi suffered serious injuries in his head and body in the fight. The family immediately took him to the hospital, but the doctors discharged him only after first aid. When Ravi returned home, his health started deteriorating the next day. He suffered a severe headache and fainted. The family took him to the hospital again, but died on Sunday afternoon during treatment.
Angry family jammed road
After Ravi’s death, tension and anger spread in the area. The family and local people started demonstrating the body on the old National Highway. Traffic in the area was disrupted due to road jam. On receiving the information, Police Station Manjit Kumar Thakur reached the spot and pacified the people. People ended the protest after the police explained.
Accused arrested, investigation continues
The police have registered a case of murder against Baleshwar Rai and both his associates on the basis of the complaint of family members. All three have been arrested. The police handed over Ravi’s body to the family members after the post -mortem. Station Head Manjeet Kumar Thakur said that the matter is being seriously investigated and further legal action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts will be revealed.
Outrage and tension in the area
The incident has caused resentment in the entire Khusroopur area. Local people say that it is against humanity to kill someone on such a small thing. The family has demanded a severe punishment to the culprits.
