Deeg. Minister of State for Home, Gopalan, Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries Department Jawahar Singh Bedham said that the views of Sant Ravidas ji are very relevant to today’s society. He said that Sant Ravidas ji gave the message of equality, love, and social justice to the society. His teachings still inspire people. He gave a message to rise above the discrimination of caste, religion, and class and live with each other with love and respect. Bedham said that Saint Shiromani gave direct evidence among the society with famous proverbs like “Mana heal to kathoti in Ganga”.
Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham was addressing the people at the unveiling program of Sant Ravidas ji in Ravidaspura Nagar. The unveiling of Ravidas Temple and Sant Ravidas Ji statue was completed on Sunday due to the lotus of Bedham. The Minister of State for Home was presiding over the statue unveiling program. He paid homage to the portrait of Sant Ravidas and said that the messages of Sant Ravidas are going to take the country on the path of development with harmony. He bowed to Saint Ravidas and said that India has been a country of saints. In this tradition, the supreme saint Ravidas gave the message of harmony, morality and humanity to the society with his life values in the 13th century. To strengthen the moral values of the society and the country, we should all assimilate their messages. He said that through the constitution created by Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, considering the messages of Sant Ravidas as the basis of development and social harmony, the country is leading towards developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that we should all play a role in social harmony by taking his messages to the young generation and taking inspiration from them.
Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham paid homage to Sant Ravidas and said that in the 13th century, distinctions like discrimination in society were given direction to the distant society. He thanked all the visitors who attended the program. During this time, Saint’s C Ravi Guruji, former MLA Agra Gutiyari Lal Duveve, former councilor Kailash Mishra, Kasi Bhagat, Brijendra Singh etc. were present as the most special guests.
