On Wednesday, Sapaks Samaj submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Collector Amrita Garg in the name of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, demanding that the Supreme Court’s decisions be followed in the matter of reservation in promotion and to start promotions on unreserved posts in the state at the earliest. Officers, employees and businessmen of various departments, who arrived in large numbers under the banner of Sapaks society, raised slogans. A large number of people reached the Collectorate at four o’clock in the evening under the banner of General Backward and Minority Class Officer Employees Association and raised slogans against their demands. After this, a memorandum was submitted in which it was told that on January 28, 2022, the three-judge bench of the Supreme Court, in its decision regarding reservation in promotion, has once again made it clear that M Nagaraj case and Janrail Singh for reservation in promotion. It will be mandatory to follow the guidelines laid down in the case. The speakers said that the promotion rule of 2002 was abolished in 2016, but the government appealed. The High Court and the Supreme Court have not stopped the promotion by merit, but the government has kept it at its level. Junior is being made senior by stopping promotion of senior which is wrong. Expressing displeasure, the office-bearers of SPAX have said that the government has been doing injustice to them for the last six years by neglecting the interests of 64 per cent of the SP workers. Demanded that the government should stop suppressing talent, ability and ability. On this occasion, Dr. Narendra Shukla, Mukesh Srivastava, Shivraj Singh Dangi, Rambabu Baghel, Gajendrapal Singh, Harihar Chaturvedi, CS Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Rajesh Dixit, BK Jain, DK Gupta, Rammohan Srivastava etc. were present.
