Paris Olympics 2024: In Paris Olympics 2024, India has so far succeeded in winning bronze medals in 2 different shooting events. One of these medals came in the 10m air pistol mixed team event in which the pair of Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh together won the bronze medal for India. The pair defeated the Korean pair of Lee Wonho and O Ye Jin by a margin of 16-10 in this event for the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics. At the same time, after Sarabjot Singh’s brilliant performance in this event, his coach Abhishek Rana also expressed happiness and told in a special conversation with India TV how Sarabjot had prepared for the Olympics.

Abhishek Rana while talking to India TV said that the relationship between a coach and a player is very special because only a coach can give the right direction to the player. Now if a player is given a goal and he is not able to achieve it, then there is a lot of turmoil for that player because he could not do what he had come to do because he was fully prepared for it. Sarabjot was not happy with not doing well in the mixed event and he definitely has a regret inside him. Today he along with Manu succeeded in winning the medal with good planning.
Why is Chandigarh’s DAV College special?
Sarabjot Singh is also a current student of DAV College in Chandigarh, in which the sports director Dr. Amanendra Mann also while talking to India TV said that we try to give special facilities to the players studying in the college, if they miss their main exams, then we make separate arrangements for that and also run online classes for them. We have paid more attention to shooters since the year 2009, in which Abhishek Rana is also from our college. At the same time, 5 shooters from our college went to the Asian Games held last year, in which all together won a total of 7 medals. We did not have an Olympic medal in shooting before this, but in athletics, in which Neeraj Chopra won, but at that time he had completed his studies from DAV College. At the same time, 3 students from our college are participating in Paris Olympics 2024.
Sarabjot is quite focused
Abhishek Rana while talking about Sarabjot Singh’s training in this interview said that he is a very focused athlete. He takes things very seriously and listens to me. Manu and Sarabjot work very hard and the pair should participate in mixed events together in the future as well.
