Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty: The pair of Satwik Sairaj and Chirag Shetty are performing very well in Paris Olympics 2024. Indians are expecting medals from both of them. Both of them won their first match. Then their match was against Mark Lamsfuss and Marvin Seidel of Germany. The German pair withdrew due to Lamsfuss’ injury. After this the match was cancelled.

The pair of Satwik Sairaj and Chirag Shetty had won against 40th ranked Lucas Corvee and Ronan Labar of France. After this, the pair of Corvee and Labar were defeated by Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Fajar Alfian of Indonesia. The French doubles pair could not stand against the Indonesian pair and lost the match. With this, the French pair is out after two defeats and Chirag-Satwik have got a place in the quarter-finals.

The next match will be against Indonesia’s pair

The star badminton pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty became the first Indian doubles pair to make it to the quarter-finals of the Olympic Games. Satwik and Chirag still have one match left in the group. They will play against the Indonesian pair of Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Fajar Alfian.
