Chandigarh Satya Pal Jain, former MP of Chandigarh and Additional General Secretaritors of the Government of India, today released the book “The Ethos of Hinduism – Othos of Hinduism” (a book on Hinduism) released by Mr. Krishang Gupta, a student of St. John’s School Chandigarh.
Former Mayor of Chandigarh Devesh Modgil was also present on the occasion.
Krishang Gupta is a student of class 11 at St. Jones School, Chandigarh and has written articles on his experiences and religious and social importance of these temples in this book at various places in India. These include Kamayakhya Devi Temple, Salasar Balaji Temple, Jagannath Puri Temple, Khatu Shyam Temple, Amarnath Temple, Vaishno Devi Temple and Badrinath Temple.
Krishang Gupta told Jain and Modgil that whenever he used to go out in relation to a school tour, he used to visit the historic Hindu temples there and studied in depth of those temples and Hindu religious places. Through this, he has written this book.
Jain and Modgil praised Krishang Gupta’s efforts and religious curiosity and hoped that Krishang Gupta would continue to compose such religious and literature in future.
