As part of the special operation being run by the police for the arrest of the accused, the Kotwali police station arrested Lalchand Meena, the absconding accused of selling illegal drugs. Kotwali SHO Harlal Meena said that action is being taken to arrest the wanted accused on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Mamta Gupta. A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act.
According to SHO Harlal, the main accused in this case, Jhabu Meena, a resident of Ulia, has already been arrested. According to the police, the accused Jhabbu Meena used to buy drugs from Lalchand and sell it in Sawai Madhopur. After the arrest, in the police interrogation, Jhabu confessed to buying goods from Lalchand. Based on this, the police took action against Lalchand Meena and arrested him after investigation. Now the police is questioning him further in this case.
