New Delhi. In some states of the country, the increasing pace of corona epidemic has started scaring. There is a tremendous increase in the number of patients in Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. In such a situation, people are afraid of the fourth wave of the epidemic. According to government data, 1357 new corona patients were found in Maharashtra on Saturday and 1 died. Earlier on Friday, 1134 patients were found and 3 patients lost their lives. 889 new patients have been found in Mumbai itself. At present, the number of active cases in the state is 5888. Since the outbreak of Corona, 7891703 patients have been found in Maharashtra and 147865 patients have lost their lives so far. Despite this, the state’s Health Minister Rajesh Tope has not made the mask mandatory. They are urging people to wear masks and practice social distancing.
Talking about Delhi, the capital of the country, 405 new corona patients were found here on Saturday. Earlier on Friday, 345 new COVID patients were found in Delhi. The rate of infection in Delhi has also increased to 2.07 percent. There are currently 1467 active cases in Delhi. Since the arrival of Corona, 1908387 patients have been found in Delhi so far. Whereas, according to government data, 26212 people have lost their lives due to the epidemic here. Talking about the southern state of Tamil Nadu, 3.13 percent of the new corona patients being registered in the country are being found here. The central government has also advised the state to exercise caution.
Turning to Kerala, 1544 new corona patients were found here yesterday and 48 people lost their lives due to the epidemic. Since the outbreak of Corona in Kerala, 6563910 patients have been reported so far. So far, a total of 69790 people have been killed by COVID here. More than 1000 new corona patients are being registered daily in the state for a few days. There are currently 7972 active cases.
